1. What is the get down behind J. Davinci and the
history behind both the individual and the artist?

> DAVINCI: Born and raised in Fillmoe, CA. Grew up
influenced by everthing around me both positive and
negetive. Rap started off as just something to do for
fun until I sharpened my skills to the point were
everybody started listening. Im Definately an
individual/artist lookin to seperate myself apart from
everybody else. By any means. But at the end of the
day, I just wanna make dope shit. Feel me? Imma make
dope music and make sure everything else is gone fall
into place.

2. It's a great look but how exactly did J. Davinci
link up with the Done Deal fam? and what is your
relations with other Done Deal Artists?

DAVINCI: Its basically Fillmoe. Feel me? we grew up
together. Quinn was a few years older than me but
Rich, Bailey, Toriano and myself used to move around
tough when we was younger. We all grew up in the same
area so it was just us being young niggas doin what
ever we was into at the time. Feel me? But me making
it official wit the DEAL was just a matter of whenever
I felt like I was ready, all I had to do is holla at
Quinn. Feel me?

3. The Butter & Guns CD is recieving good reviews
and a worthy street buzz; can you tell us the
process and concepts behind the LP?

DAVINCI: Im glad you asked that. Butter & Gunz is the
theme of my new Lp because the Butter, represents the
money. Feeding your family and being alive and well to
see the fruits of your labor. And the Gunz represents
just that. The guns! Feel me? Its the right to bare
arms and protect whats yours. I want people to
understand how important it is to me to have not one
or the other, but to put yourself in position to have
both! Thats what this project is. Its both, The Butter
and the Gunz.

4. What can folks expect from J. and Thorobred in
the near future?

DAVINCI: Imma have alot of mixtape/street lp shit
droppin soon, But definately be lookin out for my
masterpiece of a Debut, "The Mona Lisa." Thats 75%
done and it sounds like "MAGIC" already. Its Crazy! I
also got got a group album coming out consisting of
Myself, Cousik Fik from Vellejo who just signed wit
E-40 (sick wit it), Costel from Fillmoe, my dude
Global from Marin City, and Cozmo (producer). That's
coming out dope as well. But in 2007 you could just
expect quality, Hot shit from J. Davinci bruh. The
people deserve it.
